Inspired by my friend, Renee Kurilla, and per her instruction, I decided to try playing around with texture in Photoshop for this month's BYOB (about giving your beer a good name). As with any first-time endeavor, I think I was a little too timid, making the brush textures too subtle and not using them very efficiently, but I think I can have some fun with this in the future. Nothing beats traditional paint, of course, but it's nice to play with a new tool! Thanks for the tip, Renee!
Apologies to those looking for day 5 of 30-for-30. I hibernated today to get rid of this cold and have yet to change out of my pajamas. You've had those days, right? I do want to thank everyone for being so supportive and encouraging of my take on the project; I'm so glad I decided to do it and I'm thrilled with being introduced to a new blog community! "Yay!" I think best sums it up.
Hey, awesome!! I love his shirt, it has so much fluidity for a flat texture (and you know how much I love plaid) haha. Cool, I can't wait to see more - we should totally have a texture nerd fest.
