Thanks to Thee, My Worthy Friend

I want to thank everyone for the awesome constructive criticism, both on and off the blog, for these new paintings!

    This is one of the more dramatic pieces I've seen you make! Wow! I absolutely love the blue-green color you have here, it looks amazing when juxtaposed against the stark white.

    Thanks, Angela! The blue-green color was directly inspired by Disney's The Sleeping Beauty--whenever the witch would appear on screen, the surrounding environment would turn this sickly green hue.

    The negative space of the owl is really dramatic and this piece feels very different than your other work-- in a good way. I like the cinematic feel to it.
